I am a highly motivated & energized independent facilitator & business coach, specializing in the areas of Personal Branding, Corporate Culture, Client Experience and Employee Engagement. I am fortunate to have found a career path perfectly suited to my personality. I started out my working career at Investec Bank in 1996 where I spent 15 years in various positions, all with the emphasis on client experience and communication. I spent a number of years in HR and Learning & Development. I always knew that I enjoyed employee engagement & watching people grow/being part of their journey whether it be in their role or through training. I decided to venture into the world of consulting in 2011 and founded Consulting Cardo.

Jaco joined BDO in 2007 as Human Resources Director and acted as representative for Sub Sahara Africa on the BDO International Human Resources and Development Committee. In 2015 he was appointed the Head of BDO People and Business Solution and oversees BDO’s Human Capital Advisory function. Jaco has more than 25 years’ experience in Human Resources Management and is a member of various professional bodies, including the South African Board for People Practices and published articles in various publications.
