I started out my working career at Investec Bank in 1996 where I spent 15 years in various positions, all with the emphasis on client experience and communication. I spent a number of years in HR and Learning & Development. I always knew that I enjoyed employee engagement & watching people grow/being part of their journey whether it be in their role or through training. I decided to venture into the world of consulting in 2011 and founded Consulting Cardo.

Jaco has more than 25 years’ experience in Human Resources Management and is a member of various professional bodies, including the South African Board for People Practices and published articles in various publications.
